Privacy Policy

loveplot helps you tell the right story on your dating profile. This page explains what we collect, why, who processes it, how long we keep it, and the rights you have over it.
What we collect
- Account details. Your email address (from the sign-in link) or, if you sign in with Google, your Google account email and basic profile. We never see your Google password.
- The profile screenshots you upload and the text we extract from them (your bio, prompts, interests, photos).
- Your answers to the discovery questions about who you want to attract, and the analysis we generate for you.
- Usage signals such as which steps you completed and page timing, so we can find what is slow or confusing.
- Optional feedback you submit.
Why we collect it
To create your account and analysis, to keep the service secure and reliable, and to improve the product. Our legal bases are your consent (uploading your profile) and performance of our service to you. We do not sell or share your personal information, and we do not use it to train any model.
Who processes it
We use a small set of service providers, each handling only what they need:
- Anthropic processes your screenshots and text to generate the analysis. Per Anthropic's API terms, API inputs and outputs are not used to train their models.
- Supabase stores your account, analyses, and photos.
- Vercel hosts the website.
- Google handles sign-in if you choose "Continue with Google".
- Resend delivers your sign-in emails.
- PostHog (EU region) gives us anonymous, cookieless product analytics so we can see where people get stuck.
- Sentry collects error reports so we can fix crashes. We configure it to strip out your profile text and personal fields.
- UptimeRobot pings the site to check it is online.
Cookies
We use only strictly necessary cookies: the ones Supabase sets to keep you signed in. Our analytics is cookieless. Because we set no advertising or tracking cookies, there is no cookie-consent banner to click through.
How long we keep it
Analyses and their uploaded photos are automatically deleted 90 days after they complete. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from your account page, which removes your analyses, photos, and sign-in record.
Your rights
You can access, export, correct, and delete your data. From your account page you can export a copy of your data as a file and delete your account. If you are in the EU or UK, you have the rights under the GDPR (articles 15 to 17, including access, rectification, and erasure). If you are in California, you have the rights under the CCPA, including the right to know, delete, and opt out. We do not sell or share personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of, but you can still exercise every other right. Email privacy@loveplot.app for anything you cannot do from the account page.
Children
loveplot is for adults only. Do not use it if you are under 18.
